Michael Watkins is the founder and owner of Highburn Studios.  Mike's been working around the comic industry for years, mostly pushing his creation GUARDIANS which he writes, illustrates, and colors. Over the years Mike has worked with some of the industries best talent, and has been fortunate enough to make some great friends along the way.

  Outside of comics, Mike is an avid Martial Artists, studying Hak Dari Shon Hap Ki Do. He also enjoys playing guitar, and is currently pursuing his degree in visual arts.

Lyle is a talented penciller who has been drawing for longer than he is willing to admit, and would have probably had a much wealthier existence if he had played basketball or baseball or something. Fortunately for the comics community, he sucked at all sports, and he is now working on his brain child Tribulations. Lyle lives in Coats, NC (end of the world, and take a left) with his beautiful and supporting wife, Dana. They have a dog who is cute, but can be a pain in the ass, and a futon on which the late, great Mike Watkins once slept.

Kenny Keen is the creator of SLAYER, EXPULSE, and 100's of other unfinished ideas. Kenny is also the man behind Midnight Horizon comics, a partner studio here at Highburn. When Kenny  is not working on a project he can be found studying the Korean Martial Art Hap Ki Do. If a lazy streak hits him you will find him playing PS2 , watching movies, or fighting with his kids over the last doughnut.

Randy Parker is the newest face here at Highburn. Writing the new series Dressed To Kill, Randy is also the life-long friend of Lyle Pollard, who he had been bugging till we finally gave him a job. Outside of comics Randy is a chronic videogame addict.  However, don't think that means he has no life! When he isn't playing with Lyle or his XBOX he's playing with his bride-to-be, Krystal. So hands off the merchandise! He's taken.
